Summary: This place has character. The staff was excellent and accommodating, very friendly and responsive. The rooms are a bit old but clean, everything works, good air conditioner, and decorated with antiques, handmade local items, even a large bookcase with hundreds of interesting older books. The parking is onsite, a bit crowded Saturday night but no one blocked you in and there is overflow parking right outside the gate just a few dozen meters from your room. Very laid back service, we pulled up, they were expecting us, didn't need to sign in or show ID once I showed them the reservation on my phone. No extra charges that happen with most of the time you deal with Filipino services, we will stay here again on the next trip to Tagaytay.
